Starting a business

A business on Bottle holds your customers, your people and your rounds. Most distributors need one. If you share a round with another distributor, you each have your own, and connect them later.

Making one

1. Sign up with your own email address, not a shared one.
2. Confirm your email. We send a link when you register; it lasts 24 hours and you can ask for another from your account at any time.
3. Start your business from the switcher at the top left of the rail.

You are its owner. That means you can do everything, including things nobody else can: changing another owner, and removing one.

While Bottle is in private testing

Starting a business needs an invitation code. Get in touch and we will send one.

Confirming your email

Until your address is confirmed you can sign in and look around, but you cannot start a business or invite anybody. Both send an email in your name, so we check the address first.
